“الجمعية العربية للبحوث الاقتصادية”:مؤتمر الجمعية السنوي يأتي بهدف تنويع الشراكات

أكد رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية العربية للبحوث الاقتصادية الدكتور محمود محي الدين على أهمية عقد مؤتمر الجمعية السنوي في نسخته ال18 في الرباط، بالمملكة المغربية بالتعاون مع مركز السياسات من أجل الجنوب الجديد لأول مرة ، موضحا ان ذلك ياتي في إطار سعي الجمعية لتنويع الشراكات مع المؤسسات البحثية والعالمية في الدول العربية خاصة مع المغرب العربي.
جاء ذلك خلال حضور الدكتور محمود محي الدين المؤتمر الذي انعقد خلال الفترة ٢٨-٢٩ نوفمبر تحت عنوان “مستقبل الاقتصادات العربية: المربعات المفروضة والإصلاح المنشودة” بالتعاون مع كل من مركز السياسات من أجل الجنوب الجديد، والمعهد العربي للتخطيط، وبدعم من بنك فيصل الإسلامي .
ولفت إلى ان أعضاء الجمعية قاموا – على هامش فعاليات المؤتمر- بزيارة مقر منظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلم والثقافة (الإيسيكو) ؛ بحضور سفراء الدول الأعضاء بالأنظمة، موضحا انه تم عرض المربكات والأزمات التي يتعرض لها العالم الإسلامي وكيفية التعامل معها، إضافة إلى مناقشة أوجه التعاون المشترك بين الجمعية والمنظمة.
وأشار إلى أن المؤتمر تضمن ٦ جلسات تناولت أثر المربكات والأزمات الجيوسياسية والتحديات المناخية والاقتصادية والتطورات التكنولوجية على النمو في الدول العربية، وذلك من خلال عدد ٧ أوراق بحثية وجلسة حوارية في نهاية المؤتمر.
“Arab Society for Economic Research”: The annual conference of the association aims to diversify partnerships with research and international institutions
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Society for Economic Research, Dr. Mahmoud Mohi El-Din, stressed the importance of holding the annual conference of the association in its 18th edition in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco, in cooperation with the Policy Center for the New South for the first time, explaining that this comes within the framework of the association’s efforts to diversify partnerships with research and international institutions in Arab countries, especially with the Maghreb.
This came during Dr. Mahmoud Mohi El-Din’s attendance at the conference, which was held during the period from November 28-29 under the title “The Future of Arab Economies: Imposed Squares and Desired Reform” in cooperation with the Policy Center for the New South, the Arab Planning Institute, and with the support of Faisal Islamic Bank.
He pointed out that the members of the association visited – on the sidelines of the conference activities – the headquarters of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO); in the presence of the ambassadors of the member states of the systems, explaining that the complications and crises facing the Islamic world and how to deal with them were presented, in addition to discussing aspects of joint cooperation between the association and the organization.
He pointed out that the conference included 6 sessions that addressed the impact of geopolitical obstacles and crises, climate and economic challenges, and technological developments on growth in Arab countries, through 7 research papers and a dialogue session at the end of the conference.
